Zemplínska Šírava - Slovak Sea

Zemplínska Šírava, rightfully called the "Slovak Sea", is the largest body of water in Slovakia with an area of 33 km². Only 13 km from our ranch you will find an ideal place for a full-day family trip full of water activities and relaxation.

Thermalpark Šírava is a modern water world that offers a wave pool, swimming pool, relaxation pool and many attractions. Children will enjoy slides and a wild river, while adults can relax in the sauna world and wellness center. The thermal water has beneficial effects on the musculoskeletal system.

For lovers of active holidays, motorboat rental is available through the Plavba.sk service. For 33-40€ you can rent a motorboat for 2 hours for 5-6 people (operating from May 1 to September 30). Pedal boats, paddleboards, windsurfing, wakeboarding and sightseeing cruises are also available.

Šírava offers several maintained beaches with gradual entry into the water, ideal for families with children. Water temperature in summer reaches a pleasant 22-25°C. On the beaches you will find snack bars, restaurants and complete social facilities. For those interested in sightseeing, the Veteran Express tourist train is available.

After a day full of experiences, you will return in the evening to the peaceful environment of our ranch, where you can rest in comfortable accommodation and plan more adventures.
